How to download attached file in hotmail to ipad

They have no clue about their own software. It sounds like your Primary email on your account is set to a third party email and not the outlook. It's a bug in their software that has been there for over 16 months since they first moved all of the Hotmail users over to the Exchanged based Outlook.

Please see my post here on how to correct it and notice that part that it might take 24 hours to start working once you do change your primary email address. And don't feel bad if you do move to GMail or some other sofware. This is just the start of the numerous bugs that were introduced in the "Upgrade" to Outlook.

The decade old Hotmail was rock solid software compared to this new junk that Microsoft released and still hasn't fixed after 16 months or more.
