According to legend, Horus defeated Seth and imprisoned him in a secret tomb. Lara, unintentionally, ends up freeing Seth from the tomb, and has to race against time to stop Seth's wrath before he can plunge the world into destruction and darkness. Lara finds out that the only way to stop Seth is to bring Horus to fight him. Unraveling the mysteries of different locations, Lara has to face several dangers, from Egyptian dogs, scorpions, mummies, souls, bats, crocodiles, to a dragon and the very men of Von Croy, who became Lara's enemy.
